U.K. Cocktail Competition
The “ROAD TO VENICE” is a competition for bartenders in the U.K. in which you have a chance to go to Venice to show off your mixology skills.
3 finalists will be flown to Venice for 2nd & 3rd March 2025 for the finals at the very unique Il Mercante cocktail bar.
(Venice Carnevale runs until 4 March 2025, so there will be a lot to see while you’re there!)

OFFICIAL RULES
1) Create an original cocktail inspired by the story of Cadello
2) Cadello must be the primary ingredient with a minimum 30ml
3) Competitors can use a maximum 5 ingredients (including Cadello)
4) Competitors must post on their Instagram page: (i) photo of the cocktail, (ii) full recipe, (iii) technique, (iv) garnish, (v) glassware and (vi) a short story with the inspiration behind your cocktail.
5) Submissions must be posts on Instagram. Not stories.
6) The Instagram post must include the following tags: @cadello88 @signor_cadello #theroadtovenice #cadello #cadello88 #unashamedly #drinkdifferently #drinkoutsidethebox #cocktailcompetition #bartendercompetition #cadellocompetition
PRIZES
1st place: £300
2nd place: £200
3rd place: £100
The winner will be posted on the Cadello Instagram page.
The winner will be interviewed and published in various publications.
Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Prizes for the 8 semi-finalists.

• First submissions due: 18 Dec 2024
• 8 semi-finalists chosen: 10 Jan 2025
• Semi-finals Gothic Bar: 27 Jan 2025 11:00am
